Description
Water-based Metalworking Fluids Testing
Water-based metalworking fluids are mostly water mixed with oils/additives. Types include soluble oils (emulsions), semi-synthetics, and synthetics which are critical for high-performance machining, forming, and grinding operations. They provide exceptional lubrication, reduce friction, and protect both tooling and workpieces. However, over time, these fluids can degrade due to oxidation, heat, and contamination, reducing efficiency and risking costly damage to machinery.
Test Includes:
- Basic: Bacteria, Hardness, pH, Chlorides, Free Oil, Dirt (>8micron)
- Standard: Alkalinity, Bacteria, Hardness, pH, Chlorides, Free oil, Refractive Index, Dirt (>8 micron)
- Premium: Alkalinity, Bacteria, Hardness, pH, Chlorides, Free oil, Refractive Index, Iron Chip Corrosion, Dirt (>8 micron)
From automotive and aerospace to heavy equipment manufacturing, we help you prevent downtime and ensure your fluids are performing at their best.
