LOAMS Update: New Multi-Language Recommendation Feature

Bureau Veritas Oil Condition Monitoring supports global customers through LOAMS, offering multi-language options for oil analysis recommendations, reports, and maintenance decision-making.

Bureau Veritas | Oil Condition Monitoring continues to support customers worldwide through a more accessible and practical online experience in LOAMS — Lube Oil Analysis Management System.

LOAMS supports multi-language recommendation display, helping customers review oil analysis recommendations in the language that best supports their teams. For organizations operating across multiple countries, regions, facilities, or fleets, this capability helps make oil analysis information easier to access, understand, and act on.

LOAMS currently supports recommendation display. This allows users from different regions to review sample recommendations with greater clarity and consistency, especially when maintenance decisions involve teams across various global locations.

Six language options: *English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Chinese*

Supporting a Global Customer Online Experience

Oil condition monitoring is not only about receiving laboratory results. It is also about how quickly teams can access those results, understand the findings, and take the right follow-up actions.

LOAMS supports this process by giving customers access to oil analysis data, sample reports, equipment records, and maintenance recommendations through one digital platform. Customers can use LOAMS to monitor sampling schedules, submit samples online, review completed results, manage equipment information, and filter large sets of data by different parameters.

For many global customers, oil analysis data is reviewed by more than one person. A reliability manager may review equipment trends. A maintenance planner may look at recommended actions. A site technician may need to confirm whether a sample requires follow-up. A regional operations leader may need an overview across multiple locations.

When these users work in different countries or languages, clear digital communication becomes even more important. Multi-language recommendation support in LOAMS helps reduce confusion and supports better alignment between laboratory findings and maintenance actions.

Making Oil Analysis Information Easier to Use

The value of oil analysis depends on how effectively the information is used. Laboratory testing can identify changes in fluid condition, contamination, wear patterns, and other early indicators of potential equipment issues. However, the results need to be accessible and understandable for the people responsible for maintenance planning and asset reliability.

LOAMS helps customers turn test data into practical insight by supporting sample history review, report management, trend monitoring, and equipment data organization. Users can filter reports, review sample conditions, monitor abnormal trends, and distribute information to the right teams.

With multi-language recommendation display, LOAMS further supports users who need to review laboratory guidance in their preferred language. This is especially useful for companies managing international operations, global fleets, industrial plants, power generation assets, data centers, marine operations, or other equipment-intensive environments.

Supporting Better Maintenance Decisions

Timely and clear information is critical in condition-based maintenance. When teams can quickly understand sample recommendations, they are better positioned to determine whether equipment should be monitored, resampled, serviced, or investigated further.

By supporting multi-language access within LOAMS, Bureau Veritas helps customers create a more consistent digital workflow across regions. This supports stronger communication between laboratory teams, maintenance teams, and operations teams. It also reflects our broader commitment to customer-focused digital support. LOAMS is designed to help customers manage oil analysis programs more efficiently, improve data visibility, and support informed maintenance decisions.

A Practical Digital Tool for Global Operations

As organizations continue to operate across wider geographies, the customer online experience becomes an important part of service delivery. LOAMS provides a practical digital front end for oil condition monitoring by combining laboratory results, sample tracking, equipment information, reporting tools, and maintenance recommendations in one platform. By making oil analysis information clearer and more accessible, LOAMS supports better communication, better planning, and more confident reliability decisions.
